Dialogue on Climate Change and the Youth of South Africa
On the 29th of June SALO hosted a dialogue with national youth & student leadership including ANCYL, DASO, NYDA, PASMA, SASCO, SAUS.
Young people are not only victims of climate change. They are also valuable contributors to climate action. They are agents of change, entrepreneurs and innovators. Humans and wild animals face new challenges for survival because of climate change. More frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people’s livelihoods and communities.
