The Embassy of Ireland and SALO hosted a conversation on South Africa’s approach to Gender Based Violence and gender equality, at home and abroad, this week in Cape Town.

A panel discussion took place on the progress made by South Africa on its domestic and foreign policy objectives on GBV, gender equality and women’s empowerment, and the opportunities that lie ahead in 2020 to move this agenda forward.
