The Honourable deputy minister played a leading role in the negotiation of the Roadmap towards elections in Madagascar, in his capacity as President Jacob Zuma’s Special Envoy during South Africa’s tenure as Chair of the SADC Organ Troika on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation.
