The mixed South African- migrant farm worker community of Stofland, De Doorns. SALO has been working with the community of Stofland for a number of years, with a focus on combating xenophobia.

Mr. Anthony Mutetwa of PASSOP opening the floor for the local community drama club to present their piece on African Unity.
Community members engaged around the topic of African Unity and solidarity, raising the fact that our differences as Africans do not outweigh our similarities in culture as well as in struggles.
The local drama club’s piece began by depicting the key support and comraderie that South African liberation movements received from countries in the region during the struggle against Apartheid
The youngest member of the drama club prepared a rap song in Xhosa about the important role of the youth in politics.
