One of FBI’s most wanted terrorists captured in Somalia
A Somali-American on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list has been captured, Somali intelligence officials said Tuesday.
Liban Haji Mohamed was arrested as he traveled from an area controlled by terror group Al-Shabaab in southern Somalia.

U.S. money transfers cut off to Somalia

The last U.S. bank accepting money transfers from Somali immigrants to their families back home has halted those transactions. That’s bad news for both those families and the Somali economy. By some estimates, the Somali diaspora sends home $1.3 billion each year.
